When you play Bardbarian's campaign, as you go from wave to wave you will unlock different characters. Eventually the enemies become stronger and you will fail, unless you upgrade the town, your skills, and heroes.
When you unlock a hero, it joins your team on the playing field and fights for you. I soon realised after unlocking two heroes, that it would be great if you can unlock the rest of the heroes in one go up until the end. In the game you will only be able to have 7 units so having those extra heroes fighting for you would really be awesome.
To do this, you will have to grind for money to upgrade everything. You can go through the endless runner challenge which is the fastest way to gain coins but there is an easier way without having to control the character.
1. Fully Upgrade your archer units first and as you gain money get the upgrade to add more units in-game.
2. Get the pet upgrade so your pet will automatically retrieve the coins dropped by enemies
2. Position your group near the crystal and just let them kill the enemy waves automatically
You will eventually be defeated but that is ok, the objective here is to gain coins with almost minimal user interaction.
