Dota2's Last hitting and Denying does not promote good values

I have been playing the tutorial games of Dota2, it was ok until i started the Last hit and Denying training. I think Last hitting an enemy creep just to get more gold is another way of telling your teammate 'you keep hitting that creep and i will deal the killing blow so i can get the money' and your teammate says 'no you keep hitting that creep so i can get the money'

And then both of you will just stand around waiting for the time to deal the killing blow. What to do while waiting? kill your own creeps, which i do not really feel comfortable in doing, those creeps fight for your side and what do you do when they are about to die? kill them?! There should be a way for heroes to heal them instead of killing them. I think there is a flaw in the game design (on the values education side) for these types of games that promote Last Hitting and Denying.

Dota2 is not the only game having these gameplay elements, i have been playing Awesomenauts and a quick search only proves that League of Legends is also guilty of this practice, or should i say malpractice? well it is not really malpractice if it is the norm. Right?

A quick search revealed that Smite has the last hit gameplay element but is not a major way in getting money.

Heroes of the Storm will have no Last hitting, well see how that gameplay will develop when it is released.

So i may just uninstall Dota2 and reinstall Team Fortress.
