Grinding in RedRogue

in red rogue, you can actually just grind for experience. which is actually useful, when i start a new game i grind until level 5 then start to go down the levels.

the grinder is located at the right portion of the overworld. on the left side are hearts you can consume to regain life.

this game is actually fun for me, got to stage 7 and died. i cannot decide if i should go back up to regain my life or just continue on, in the end i pressed on and met my doom in the sewers.
