Game Concept: Hack n Slash RPG with no economy

a game with no buying and selling, just crafting and recycling of items. and you can control any character class type you want without starting a new game.


this is how it would play out. you start a game, and all the classes are available to you, or you can unlock/rescue them in-game. you then pick a class and start playing and loot hunting. then go back to your basecamp and put the items you find in your stash. if some items are class restricted, then you can use the other class that can use it.

a single player can control a camp, so in multiplayer, it will be multiple camps, you can bring all your team out to hunt but your camp could be taken over by enemies or the other team, so some characters should be left behind and man the defenses.

the classes left in the camp will be controllable and can setup defense systems like  turrets and traps etc. because enemies will not wait for you to attack them but will also be aggressive to your camp.

i think this would be great in an open-world setting like in gta.
