Of dice rolling and spell casting, and the level 3 table.

You cannot play Dungeons and Dragons without dice, and your dice will not have achieved its full potential for destruction if you do not cast some spells.

I believe that there will always be people playing Role-playing games in a table top, pen and paper format, but the advent of digital touch screen tablets is slowly moving this genre along into more mobile and more easy ways to play it. Taking the table and the games with the gamers is not such a bad idea. If we can role-play as an elfish scout stalking a dwarf while sitting in the kitchen on a Sunday afternoon, maybe we can also ask the tablet to role-play as a table. In the future, hopefully, we will get a tablet that projects 3d holograms of objects so we won’t have to stare at the screen perpendicularly to see everything clearly.
